He said that during the day’s teaching initiation of Bodhisattva was also given. He said that a large number of people from the country and abroad come to visit the religious leader.
Here, businessmen are also happy because of reaching Bodh Gaya in large numbers from the country and abroad. Shopkeepers say that the business had almost come to a standstill during the Corona period of the last two to three years. Meanwhile, the Dalai Lama also laid the foundation stone of the Dalai Lama Center for Tibetan and Indian Ancient Wisdom in Bodh Gaya.
Many people including Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju, former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar Agriculture Minister Kumar Sarvjit were present on the occasion. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also reached Bodh Gaya during this period and met the religious leader. It is believed that Mahatma Buddha attained enlightenment under the Mahabodhi (Peepal) tree located in the Mahabodhi temple complex of Bodh Gaya.
