Digital Desk, New Delhi. The Border Security Force (BSF) has once again foiled Pakistan’s nefarious plan to send drugs. BSF jawans have shot down a drone that entered Indian territory at the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar. For the second time in 48 hours, BSF has got success in killing Pakistani drone.

A BSF spokesperson said that at around 8.27 pm on Monday night, BSF jawans heard the sound of a Pakistani drone entering Indian territory in Chhana village of Amritsar. After this, the BSF jawans opened fire on the drone. The drone came down in the firing.

On searching the drone, 2.5 kg of suspected heroin has also been recovered in 2 packets tied in it. The entire operation was carried out by the 183rd Battalion of the BSF. Senior officials were informed after the incident. At the same time, search operations are also being conducted in the surrounding areas.

It is noteworthy that earlier on October 14 in Gurdaspur sector and on October 16 in Amritsar sector, BSF personnel shot down a Pakistani drone. BSF has got this third major success within 4 days.
