Digital Desk, New Delhi. Calls about abandoned bags and bomb threats at two different places in east Delhi created panic on Thursday.
Police said that the first case was reported from Shahdara area.
An unidentified bag has been found in Shahdara district, said a police officer. The Delhi Police and Fire Department received a bomb threat call at 2.15 pm. We found a bag from the spot and it is being probed.
Meanwhile, another call was received about an IED in New Seema Puri.
The police officer said, the call is regarding IED. We are taking it seriously.
Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the police have summoned the National Security Guard personnel.
